One of the highlights of the Silicon Mountains 2026<\/a> second day in Yerevan was the Women Leaders Club discussion \u201cLeadership Without Borders: Lessons from Tech, Government and Diplomacy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel featured Canadian Ambassador Julie Crowley, Swiss Ambassador Andrea Barbara Baumann, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence Tatev Aslanyan, Enterprise Armenia Executive Director Gohar Abajyan, Head of Microchip Technology Armenia Ani Safaryan and Safe YOU founder Mariam Torosyan. The discussion was moderated by Luiza Ayvazyan, Head of CIPE Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The personal side of leadership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The participants spoke about the personal side of leadership: the line between personal and professional life, not compromising one\u2019s inner values for the sake of a career, and the lack of self-confidence \u2014 and how to work with that feeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decide, own it \u2014 and be honest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ani Safaryan noted that consensus matters, but it should not turn into an obstacle: a decision has to be made, and you have to take responsibility for it. Leadership, she added, is defined not by gender but by values, character and experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gohar Abajyan emphasized the importance of candour: you have to say both what you can offer and what you can\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussion was followed by the summit\u2019s closing panel on investment, \u201cAfter AI: What Are Investors Actually Paying For?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
